In the automatic batching production line of food, chemical industry, building materials, feed and so on, the metering accuracy of the hopper batching bin directly determines the quality of the finished product. With the advantages of stable structure, convenient installation and outstanding anti-unbalanced load ability, the cantilever weighing sensor has become the core metering component of the weighing system of the bin, which is widely suitable for the dynamic weighing scene of small and medium tonnage batching hoppers.

Cantilever beam sensor adopts shear beam elastic structure with one end fixed and one end bearing pressure, and high-precision strain gauge is stuck inside. After the material is loaded into the hopper, the weight of the bin is vertically transmitted to the loading end of the sensor, and the elastic body generates uniform deformation. The strain gauge converts the mechanical deformation into a standard electrical signal, which is collected and converted by the weighing instrument, and then the material weight data in the bin is output in real time, thus realizing continuous online measurement and quantitative batching control. Compared with column-type and S-type sensors, it is more suitable for supporting installation of batching hopper legs, and the force is balanced when multiple sensors are arranged in parallel, which can effectively offset the measurement error caused by feeding impact and material unbalanced load.

The standard weighing system of hopper batching bin is generally equipped with 3 to 4 cantilever sensors, which are respectively installed between the bin legs and the rigid base. When installing, it is equipped with a spherical pressure head and a mechanical limiting component. The spherical structure automatically compensates for the uneven installation surface and the lateral force caused by the thermal expansion and contraction of the equipment. The limiting device with a gap of 2-3mm resists the unloading vibration and material impact to avoid the sensor from being damaged by torque. The alloy steel main body is equipped with IP67 seal protection, which can adapt to dust and wet workshop conditions, and the zero drift is very small after long-term use. In the actual production process, cantilever sensor undertakes two core functions. First, the raw materials are accurately proportioned. The system collects the residual weight of each silo in real time according to the preset formula, automatically controls the start and stop of the feed valve, strictly controls the feeding errors of aggregates, powders and additives, and prevents the products from being scrapped due to unbalanced proportioning. Second, material inventory monitoring, real-time feedback of the remaining amount in the warehouse, reminding operators to replenish materials in time, reducing the waiting time of production line downtime and improving the continuity of automated production. At the same time, the sensor adapts to the transformation scene, and the old mechanical batching bin can be directly equipped with a weighing module to complete the digital upgrade, and the transformation cost is lower. Cantilever beam sensor with adaptive range, with standard installation and regular calibration, can control the metering error of ingredients within 0.02%, giving consideration to accuracy, stability and cost performance. It is an indispensable core sensing equipment for realizing intelligent and refined batching in modern hopper batching warehouse.
