Application of Linear Displacement Sensor KTF in Adhesive Tape Machine
The KTF slide electronic ruler is mainly used in tape machines for coating, compounding, unwinding, adjusting the gap of pressure rollers, cutting, and die-cutting processes of protective films, double-sided tapes, foam tapes, conductive tapes, etc. As a linear displacement feedback element, it converts the mechanical position into standard electrical signals (0~10V~4~20mA/RS485) in real time and transmits them to the PLC to achieve closed-loop automatic control. Its specific functions are as follows:
Coating roller gap adjustment: Monitor the opening and closing stroke of the upper and lower coating rollers to accurately control the thickness of the adhesive layer; The stability of the gap directly determines the uniformity of the adhesive coating, preventing thick and thin edges, missed coating, and glue overflow.
Displacement detection of roll correction mechanism: tracks the movement of the correction frame, cooperates with the correction system to prevent substrate deviation, and avoids uneven width and edge wrinkles of the adhesive tape.
Composite pressure roller/bonding roller stroke control: Control the composite pressure gap to ensure that the multi-layer substrate is tightly bonded without bubbles or delamination.
Cutting platform/die-cutting station stroke positioning: fixed length cutting, segmented die-cutting, ensuring the consistency of the size of the finished adhesive tape.
Tension mechanism movement stroke feedback: tension swing roller position collection, auxiliary constant tension control, to prevent substrate stretching deformation.
Selection and installation precautions:
1. Range selection: actual maximum stroke+15% buffer to avoid damage caused by overtravel;
2. Installation method: Try to keep the dustproof port facing downwards to reduce the entry of glue mist into the interior;
3. Priority recommendation for measuring points: KTF is preferred for coating roller gaps and correction mechanisms;
4. For working conditions with particularly severe adhesive fog, a simple dust cover can be added to further extend the service life.
