The SWU‑series industrial‑grade transit‑time ultrasonic flowmeter adopts high‑performance industrial FPGA chip and self‑developed TGA arithmetic algorithm to deliver fast and stable liquid flow measurement. Clamp‑on installation enables commissioning without pipe cutting or production shutdown, effectively minimizing downtime losses caused by pipeline renovation.
This flowmeter provides measurement accuracy up to 0.5% and repeatability of 0.1%, with a maximum sampling rate of 300 times per second. It supports low‑velocity measurement starting from 0.03 m/s and fits pipe diameters ranging from 26 mm to 1200 mm. A single pair of transducers is compatible with most pipe sizes. Both standard and high‑temperature transducer options are available: the standard version works from ‑40℃ to 80℃, while the high‑temperature variant can withstand up to 180℃ to accommodate different working temperatures of liquid media.
Rich communication and output options include 4‑20 mA analog output, pulse output, relay output and RS485 Modbus interface for seamless connection with PLC and host monitoring systems. When fitted with RTD temperature sensors, the unit can be upgraded to a heating‑cooling energy meter for HVAC thermal energy calculation. The standard transducer cable length is 9 meters and cable extension is supported to cope with complicated on‑site wiring conditions. For reliable readings, the pipeline must remain full of liquid during operation; proper straight pipe sections are required to reduce interference from air bubbles and sediment.
With non‑contact measuring principle, there is no risk of medium leakage, and routine maintenance workload is greatly reduced. SWU‑series ultrasonic flowmeters are widely used for circulating water in factories, municipal water treatment, chemical process pipelines, and HVAC energy‑saving auditing. It is an ideal measuring solution for retrofitting existing pipelines and on‑line industrial flow monitoring projects.
