The SOP‑U9 series are compact U‑shaped slot‑type photoelectric sensors. The infrared emitter and receiver are integrated on both sides of the U‑groove housing. When an opaque object blocks the infrared light path inside the slot, the sensor outputs switch‑level signals for non‑contact object detection, rotation counting and position limit monitoring, ideal for built‑in automation equipment solutions.
With robust simplified housing manufactured by automated processes, the sensors deliver high unit‑to‑unit consistency. Built‑in anti‑interference design resists strong ambient light and power‑supply surge, with lightning‑proof power circuit for harsh industrial conditions. Max response frequency reaches 3 kHz for high‑speed counting and fast‑moving mechanism detection. A red indicator shows light‑receiving status clearly. Short‑circuit protection for load enhances operational safety.
