Introduction

The KPC linear displacement sensor is a newly‑developed articulated rod‑style position‑sensing product from Jiangxi SOP Precision Intelligent Manufacturing Technology Co., Ltd. Featuring spherical plain rod ends (fisheye joints) on both sides, this sensor is specially engineered for mechanical installations with swing offset, where strict axial alignment cannot be guaranteed. It delivers dependable linear displacement and position feedback data for diverse automated industrial equipment.

Benefiting from excellent mechanical durability, the sensor is capable of millions of operating cycles. It provides infinite resolution with repeat accuracy less than 0.01 mm, enabling it to capture tiny positional variations and guarantee high‑precision equipment control. The dual‑end spherical rod ends permit a deflection angle of ±12.5°. Even if the machinery swings during operation, the sensor can keep working steadily, which greatly lowers the difficulty of on‑site assembly and commissioning.

It adopts a Φ36 anodized‑aluminum alloy housing, while the sensing rod is manufactured from stainless‑steel material. With an IP65 protection rating, the sensor can reliably run in dusty and humid industrial environments. Multiple output options are available, including 2‑wire /3‑wire voltage, current transmitter output and RS485 digital communication. This broad output compatibility allows seamless integration with different industrial control systems. Measurable stroke covers the range from 50 mm up to 800 mm. The maximum moving speed reaches 5 m/s. Its working temperature ranges from ‑40 °C to +80 °C, and it possesses outstanding anti‑vibration and anti‑shock performance, conforming to relevant IEC industrial standards.

It is widely deployed on hydraulic facilities, construction machinery, injection‑molding & rubber machinery, wood‑processing and ceramic‑making machines, automated test benches, water‑conservancy sluice gate monitoring, and special‑purpose intelligent machinery. This product effectively resolves common defects of ordinary displacement sensors, such as stuck movement and accelerated wear caused by swinging mechanical misalignment.

The KPC series provides a complete selection of standard measuring strokes. Standard resistance values are 5KΩ and 10KΩ. A 1‑meter connecting cable is supplied as standard.
